A BRONZE FOUR-LEGGED SQUARE CENSER WITH TWO EARS Qing Dynasty
The censer features a pure bronze body with waxed-brown skin. Geometric patterns are carved on the protruding outer rim of the flat square mouth. With dropped shoulders and a vertical abdominal, a pair of Ban ears adorns either side of the shoulders. Four short legs extend from underneath the body. On the bottom, two rows of four characters Elegant Trinket Full of Charm are written in Seal Script and displayed in a square frame. This beautiful censer has an unique design with both straight and curved contours, making it an exceptional vessel.
