Huang Junbi was highly recognized by his majestic landscape paintings. Little has been known for his Song Gongbi Style techniques which are meticulously employed and his gongbi paintings equally stunned art critics since. In this oeuvre, a pair of mandarin ducks were depicted among the reeds and chrysanthemums. Each subject carries their own representations and together they form a blessing to a couple’s married life and prosperity for the family.
