A BRONZE CENSER WITH TWO LION HEAD EARS Qing Dynasty
Made from refined copper casting, this item has a sleek, maroon-colored look. The mouth is round with a flat rim and the shoulders slope into a drooping abdominal. The shoulder line is higher than the drum abdominal section's line. Two lion heads on the sides serve as ears. The abdominal tapers off on the inside. In the middle of the wide circular foot is a square frame with the characters S.ng Yue L.. It is a circular, curved censer with thick casting, providing an elegant visual impression.
