Ryoichi Yamazaki was born in Asakusa, Tokyo in 1976. He got a Bachelor of Fine Arts by major in Sculpture from Tokyo Zokei University of Art and Design in 2002. He is good at integrating daily situations with the figure of melancholic and innocent children, and discussing the contradictory mentality of people in contemporary society that fears socializing.
