Master of the Water, Pine and Stone Retreat, Hugh Moss born in 1943, an Englishman, a collector of Chinese arts and artifacts of over 40 years, is especially renowned for his world-famous collection of snuff bottles and of course, his love of Chinese arts extends into the intriguing fields of antiques, paintings and calligraphy, contemporary Chinese fine arts and visual designs. He is also considered a significant figure in the development of contemporary Chinese fine arts for his career as an art agent for several celebrated Chinese artists in the 1990's, including Liu Dan, Liu Guo-Song, He Hui-Suo and Chen Qi-Kuan. In the past two decades, Moss devoted himself to the world of creative water-and-ink painting with studios in England and Hong Kong. He has a refreshing style characterized by ageless serenity and elegance.
