CHIANG YI-TSAI 姜義才

Graduated from the graduate school of the Arts Faculty at the National Taiwan Normal University, Chiang Yi-Tsai was the student of Sun Jia-Qin, specializing in Chinese paintings and calligraphy. During his university education, he imitated ancient masterpieces and obtained a solid foundation in strokes and depiction. His works are multivarious in forms, including fans, album leaves, scrolls and wood and bamboo carvings. The artistic styles could be traced back to Song dynasty and Zhang Da-Qian's aesthetic forms and ideologies.
