Born in KangNung, Korea in 1968, he obtained a BFA from the department of Fine Arts of KangNung National University in 1994, a MFA from the department of Painting of Jung-Ang University Graduate School. Since 1998, he has participated in different international group exhibitions and art fairs: Art Cologne, Germany, 2004; KIAF, Korea, 2005; Melbourne Art Fair, Australia, 2006; Asian Contemporary Art Fair, New York, 2007.
