HUANG Yu-Cheng 黃玉成
Taiwanese 1948
Born in Yilan, Huang was inspired byLi Mei-Sh, Liao Ji-Chu, Chen Jing-Rong who were the western art pioneers in the early 20th century in Taiwan. Huang graduated from National Taiwan Normal University, majored in fine arts. He is often invited to be a jury at numerous art competition, such as Nanyi Award. Since 1990, Huang had numerous solo exhibitions at Asian Art Center, Taipei, Modern Gallery, Taichung, In Sian Galley, Taipei and also held exhibitions in Yilan Culture Center, Yilan Museum of Art. Awards 1987 First Prize, Oil Painting Competition, Ministry of Education 1988 First Prize, Literary and Artistic Creation Award, Ministry of Education 1989 First Prize, National Art Exhibition, Nanyi Art Awards, Taipei Arts Awards
