Chang Ke-Chi was born in Puli, Taiwan in 1950. Graduated from the Faculty of Arts at the National Taiwan Normal University, he later obtained a master degree from the Faculty of Arts at the Chinese Culture University. He is now an assistant professor at the National Taiwan Normal University and the National Taiwan University of Arts. He is also the deputy curator of the Museum of Chinese Art at the Taipei 101, and honorary chairman of the Taiwan Gongbi Art Society. His works were exhibited at the National Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, Taipei Fine Arts Museum, the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts. His works were kept in national museums including, the National Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall, the National Museum of History, National Central Library and the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts.
